Supplier Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your listing on Little One's Event Directory. By joining our platform, you agree to operate transparently, professionally, and in the best interests of the families you serve.

1. About the Platform

Little One's Event Directory (operated under babypartyhire.com) is a listing and marketing platform that connects parents with baby and toddler event suppliers across Australia. We do not act as a booking agent, intermediary, or party to any transaction between a supplier and a customer.

By submitting an onboarding form and maintaining an active listing, you ("the Supplier") agree to these terms in full.

2. Pricing & Commitment

  • Ongoing subscription: $50/month (AUD), billed via Square Payments to your nominated billing email.
  • Commitment: Month-to-month. There is no lock-in contract and you may cancel at any time in accordance with Section 4.

Pricing is subject to change. We will provide at least 30 days' written notice via email before any pricing changes take effect for existing subscribers.

3. Billing & Payments

The following billing terms apply to all active paid subscriptions:

  • Monthly invoices are issued via Square Payments to your nominated billing email address.
  • Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date.
  • Late or failed payments may result in temporary listing suspension until the outstanding balance is settled.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure your billing email is current and that payment details remain valid. Update these by contacting billing@babypartyhire.com.

4. Cancellations

  • You may cancel your listing at any time by emailing billing@babypartyhire.com with the subject line: Cancellation – [Your Business Name].
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Your listing will remain active until that date.
  • No refunds are issued for partial months. If you cancel mid-cycle, you retain access to your listing until the period you have paid for expires.

5. Listing Content & Intellectual Property

  • You retain full ownership of all photos, copy, and content you provide to us.
  • By submitting content, you grant Little One's Event Directory a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and share that content on the platform and associated social media channels for the duration of your listing.
  • By submitting photos that include identifiable individuals — including children — you warrant that you have obtained all necessary consents from those individuals or, in the case of minors, from their parent or legal guardian, to use and publish those images in a commercial context. This responsibility rests entirely with you as the Supplier.
  • Little One's Event Directory accepts no liability for any claim arising from the unauthorised use of an individual's likeness, including images of children, where content was submitted by a Supplier.
  • We reserve the right to remove any image upon receiving a credible complaint regarding consent, and to suspend or remove listings where consent obligations have not been met.
  • We reserve the right to edit your listing content for clarity, grammar, consistency, or to ensure it aligns with our platform standards. We will not materially alter the meaning of your descriptions without your consent.
  • Images of your business and work may be shared on our social media accounts with credit given to your business.
  • To request profile changes, email admin@babypartyhire.com. We aim to process change requests within 5 business days.

6. Supplier Responsibilities & Compliance

Little One's Event Directory is a listing platform only. All service delivery, compliance, and legal obligations remain entirely with you as the Supplier. By listing with us, you confirm that:

  • Your business is legally registered and operates in accordance with all applicable Australian laws and regulations.
  • You hold any required licences, certifications, and insurances relevant to your services.
  • All information provided in your listing is accurate, current, and not misleading.
  • You will respond to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • You are solely responsible for the quality and safety of the services you provide. Little One's Event Directory accepts no liability for any dispute, loss, or harm arising from your services.

7. Platform Rights

We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or remove any listing that we determine, at our sole discretion, to be misleading, inappropriate, or in breach of these terms.
  • Decline or remove listings that do not align with the platform's focus on baby and toddler events.
  • Update these terms at any time. We will notify active suppliers of material changes via email with reasonable notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, Little One's Event Directory is not liable for:

  • Any loss of business, revenue, or enquiries resulting from listing suspension, platform downtime, or changes to the platform.
  • Any disputes between a Supplier and a customer arising from services booked through the platform.
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation that cannot be excluded.
